Leicester City have signed Jamaica forward Bobby Decordova-Reid on a free transfer following his departure from Fulham.

The 31-year-old has signed a three-year contract.

Decordova-Reid made more than 150 appearances in five years at Fulham, twice helping them earn promotion from the Championship to the Premier League before being released at the end of his contract last month.

He is Steve Cooper's first signing since he replaced Enzo Maresca as manager last month.

"Turning up here was a special moment, looking around and seeing the infrastructure. It’s got that wow factor. It feels nice," Decordova-Reid said.

"I’m delighted to be here and I can’t wait to get going.

"I had a good chat with the manager - he told me the vision of the club.

"I spoke to him a few times and he was very clear in what he wanted and what he saw in me. He believes in me and it’s a perfect fit for me."

Decordova-Reid began his career at Bristol City and has also played for Cheltenham, Oldham, Plymouth and Cardiff.

Leicester, who won the Championship last season, sold midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea for £30m last week.
