BBC Studios TalentWorks & Unheard by VAMP

Bringing on tomorrow's talent.

BBC Studios strives to seek out the very best talent and has established TalentWorks, dedicated to offering work placements, mentoring, and training opportunities to supercharge the careers of creative talent on and off screen, maintaining the highest industry standards as we nurture the next generation of content creators.

We also offer our Assistant Producer Accelerator Programme, which provides work placements to improve access to the TV industry for young people.

Supporting the creative industries

Creativity is the lifeblood of our business and so BBC Studios regularly partners with up-and-coming talent and independent production companies to foster success.

This may take the form of a first-look deal to help support the development of new ideas, by having the first opportunity to invest in a project; or we might take a minority or majority investment in a start-up to help it grow.

We also provide funding for industry charity The Film & TV Charity, which supports those working freelance in the production sector.

Through our partnerships, we bring around £180 million to the UK independent production sector annually, in development funding, rights investment and royalties.
