TARRANT COUNTY, Texas (Gray News) - Deputies saved eight puppies that were left out in the heat in Texas.
The puppies were left in a field inside a carrier with no water on a day when the temperature reached 100 degrees, according to the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office.
A good Samaritan called authorities to report the puppies and after deputies responded, Fort Worth Animal Control took the puppies for medical exams and care.
The puppies will be up for adoption later this week, authorities said.
