FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) - The Poker Creek Port of Entry will be reopening for the summer season starting May 17, and will close on Sept. 15.

Travelers should be aware of changing hours due to weather conditions, so plan accordingly. For those that require an I-94, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection recommends using the CBP One mobile app or their website to apply.

Travelers who are with the Visa Waiver Program, must receive travel authorization (ESTA) which is valid for two years beginning the date of approval or expiration of the traveler’s passport, whichever comes first.

The port will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Alaska Standard Time or 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Yukon Standard Time.
