Iconic subterranean Peoria spot set to close second incarnation
PEORIA (25News Now) - A mainstay downtown Peoria business is set to close its doors.
Richards Under Main announced that the subterranean business’s last day will be on Saturday, as its liquor license expires Sunday.
Owners attribute the closure to breaking coolers, flooding and loss of business.
For the rest of the week, any beer, mixed drink or wine is $3. Pizza and wings will be $10 while they last.
Richard’s will be cash only and will not be open for lunches.
Richard’s reopened in 2023 after a five year hiatus.
