Michigan State Police say 53% of mass attacks leave a trail leading up to them, and now they’re asking communities to help identify crises before they happen.
The move comes just months after new state gun laws took effect and just days after the U.S. Supreme Court lifted a ban on bump stocks, the rapid-fire accessory that was used in the country’s deadliest mass shooting in Las Vegas.
