COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Billie is an 8-month-old solid black kitten up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline!

Billie was found as a small, stray kitten about 6 months ago. He was very pitiful when he was found.

Billie’s front right leg had been injured somehow. There were no open wounds, but the foot was curled inward and he was not using the leg. Pawmetto was afraid the leg might have to be amputated. However, the veterinarian said the injury had healed and fused and is not painful. The leg could be amputated for cosmetic purposes, but it is not necessary since it does not affect Billie at all or slow him down!

Despite his unofficial tri-pod status, Billie is quite the spunky little boy! Nothing stops Billie from having fun! He loves to run around and jump all the time. When he is not running around playing, Billie loves to sit in a sunny window and nap. He also loves eating and getting cuddles. Billie is very sweet and gets along great with other cats and kittens.

Right now, cats over 4 months of age like Billie are only $50 to adopt! Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines. You can meet Billie at Pawmetto Lifeline during adoption hours with an approved adoption application!

Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Get a head start on the adoption process by completing an adoption application before your visit at www.pawmettolifeline.org.
