COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Dusty is a 5-month-old Labrador Retriever mix up for adoption at Pawmetto Lifeline.

Dusty and his brother, Rusty, were dumped on someone’s property. Rusty was adopted a few days ago. Pawmetto Lifeline staff have noticed how lonely and sad Dusty is, now that his brother is gone. He needs a forever family to scoop him up soon and show him lots of love and attention!

Dusty is a goofy boy that loves people! He has truly never met a stranger. He is so sweet and friendly! Dusty is definitely a “people dog.” He loves to be by his human’s side and follow you around.

Dusty is a typical Labrador puppy that loves to run and play, especially with other dogs. He wants to greet every pup that comes his way. Dusty is the kind of dog you can take just about anywhere because he acclimates well to new surroundings, people, kids and other pets. He likes to chase cats to play with them but he is always very gentle.

Dusty is still learning his basic obedience skills but is doing really well with “Sit!” He is very smart and you can just tell he wants to make you happy, especially if you have a treat! Dusty is already potty-trained and crate-trained.

If you are interested in adopting Dusty, please complete an adoption application online at www.pawmettolifeline.org He will be on-site for adoptions this Friday and Saturday at Pawmetto Lifeline! Pawmetto Lifeline is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1275 Bower Parkway in Columbia, South Carolina.
