PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Graceville alum and current Assistant G.M. of the Las Vegas Raiders Champ Kelly is getting set to host his annual C.H.A.M.P. Camp next Friday and Saturday at Tommy Oliver Stadium!

“We are entering into the 5th annual C.H.A.M.P. Camp. Again, I stress this every year, it’s not Champ’s Camp, C.H.A.M.P. Camp, Heart, Attitude, Motivation, Pride. We’re proud to be back in the Panhandle to be at Bay High School. This year is particularly special because we get to partner with Win Within, which is Janarius Robinson’s foundation. And so, to be able to partner with him and invest into the youth of that community is pretty exciting for me”, said Kelly.

“I’ve put down three standards that I really want to emphasize this year, to our campers and our coaches alike. Is to be impeccable with your word. To be immersed in your focus. And to be intentional with your actions. So, we’re going to really stress those three standards throughout the couple of days that we get to work with the campers. Whether they’re young and just starting off, dipping their toe into football. Or whether they’re experienced, highly recruited high school players”, Kelly added.

Champ adds there are currently two members of the Raiders who are C.H.A.M.P. Camp alums, bear in mind he runs camps in Denver, Chicago, Vegas and other areas along with locally. The camp here next Friday and Saturday, 8:30 to 2:00 each day, ages 8 to 18. Again, it’s free, you can register at www.heartpowerinc.org
