SO WE WANT TO BRING IN MARIA DEBONE NOW. MARIA, WHO ARE THE FRONT RUNNERS AFTER LAST NIGHT AND WHAT DOES THIS MEAN. WELL, THE TWO CANDIDATES, CANDIDATES THAT RECEIVED THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF PERCENTAGE OF THAT VOTE ARE BOTH REPUBLICANS ADDISON MCDOWELL AND MARK WALKER. NOW, MCDOWELL HAS A SLIGHT LEAD OVER WALKER WITH A LITTLE OVER 26% OF THE VOTE. WALKER RECEIVED A LITTLE OVER 20% OF THE VOTE. 9:35 p.m. - According to NBC sources, former North Carolina Rep. Madison Cawthorn was spotted at Trump's Mar-a-Lago party. He was wearing his member of Congress pin.

Cawthorn, who served as the representative for North Carolina's 11th Congressional District from 2021 to 2023, lost his primary in 2022 following a series of scandals including misdemeanor charges and a nude video.

9:30 p.m. - Election results are continuing to pour in from across North Carolina.

8:10 p.m. - WXII 12's Kenny Beck and Bill O'Neil reconvene with John Dinan to discuss the primary results that have started to come in.

8:05 p.m. - Attorney General Josh Stein and Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson are projected to win the North Carolina gubernatorial primary race.
