Labrador duck

It was a rare bird to begin with due to their wariness towards men, but people at that time did not consider them to be precious. Perhaps, because their feathers were perfect for blankets and pillows, they were overhunted. Eventually, only 55 taxidermy specimens continue their legacy around the world.
