Last Friday we had the privilege of hosting the Treasury Wine Estates Digital, Data, and Technology team for an off-site at the AWS Office in Melbourne. Kate Whitney, set the tone with an inspiring keynote speech, unveiling the day's purpose and strategic vision. We then explored Amazon’s Culture of Innovation, cutting-edge Supply Chain demand forecasting techniques, and advancements in Data and AI. Throughout the day, our focus remained steadfast on how GenAI empowers Amazon.com to deliver an unparalleled customer experience while fostering efficiency and optimizing costs. We delved into our customer promise, specifically examining how middle mile and last mile analytics contribute to exceeding delivery deadlines. A highlight was engaging in thought-provoking discussions surrounding our Leadership Principles and the mechanisms that accelerate new processes, technologies, and people. To close out the day we heard from Social Scientist Nigel Dalton from Thoughtworks on how companies are evolving and adapting to the new data-powered landscape, and a lucky few experienced the thrill of driving an F1 racing car in our cutting-edge Builder Studio!
