Applicants have until April 13 to get their short doc submissions in for the Millennium Docs Against Gravity Short Pitch Program (Warsaw, Poland, May 14 2023). Five selected short documentary film projects at rough cut stage, and hailing from Central and Eastern Europe, will be pitched to sales agents, distributors, and festival and TV representatives.
The aim of the Short Pitch Program is to promote and support documentary cinema from the area and provide a networking platform for filmmakers, producers and sales agents, distributors, festival and TV representatives. The pitches themselves will be preceded by a short but intensive session of pitch training. The event will be moderated by Netherlands-based freelance programmer Emilia Mazik.
The event is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film in co-operation with Millennium Docs Against Gravity and DAE – Documentary Association of Europe.
