We’re excited to welcome Gary Miller as our new VP, Cybersecurity Programs and Services! In this role, Gary will lead the growth and evolution of our cybersecurity programs, which support Canada’s research and education sector. We’d also like to thank Peter Wilenius, our current VP, Cybersecurity Programs and Services since 2022, after having previously served as our VP, Business Development. During his 11-year tenure at CANARIE, Peter’s leadership has been instrumental in in the development of the CIP, in which over 200 Canadian research and post-secondary organizations now participate. Peter’s tenure also saw the integration of the CanSSOC Threat Intelligence team into CANARIE, the evolution of the DAIR Cloud Program, as well as building relationships with partners across Canada’s research, education, and innovation communities. Nous sommes emballés d’accueillir Gary Miller, nouveau vice-président des programmes et des services de cybersécurité à compter ! M. Miller pilotera l’expansion et l’évolution des programmes de cybersécurité de l’organisme avec le concours du secteur canadien de la recherche et de l’éducation. Parallèlement, nous tenons à remercier Peter Wilenius, qui occupait ce poste depuis 2022, après un passage à la vice-présidence au développement des affaires. Au cours de ses onze années chez CANARIE, par son leadership, M. Wilenius abouti à l’élaboration du PIC, auquel participent maintenant au-delà de 200 institutions de recherche et d’études supérieures du Canada. Durant la même période, il a supervisé l’intégration de l’équipe de renseignement en cybersécurité du CanSSOC à CANARIE, l’évolution du programme d’infonuagique Accélérateur technologique pour l’innovation et la recherche (ATIR), et la concrétisation de nombreux liens avec les partenaires de l’organisme dans les milieux canadiens de la recherche, de l’éducation et de l’innovation.
