The Technical Wishes team at Wikimedia Deutschland is planning to make reusing references easier. For our research, we are looking for wiki contributors willing to show us how they are interacting with references.
- The format will be a 1-hour video call, where you would share your screen. More information here.
- Interviews can be conducted in English, German or Dutch.

- Sessions will be held in January and February.

Campanya a xarxes: el mot preferit en català[modifica]
Hola!
Com sabeu, porto el compte del Viccionari a X amb l'objectiu de donar a conèixer el projecte i incrementar-ne les visites (i, si es pot, captar nous editors). A dia d'avui som la versió lingüística del Viccionari amb més seguidors, impacte i activitat a X.
Per tal d'incrementar aquest impacte he pensat en encetar una campanya similar a "Busquem la paraula preferida en català" que, per mitjà d'un sistema d'enquestes eliminatòries, serveixi per triar quin és el mot preferit de la gent. L'objectiu, evidentment, no és trobar la paraula sinó les lectures i difusió del projecte que guanyarem pel camí, juntament amb poder fer una crida a la millora de les entrades relatives a les paraules en competició.
Voldria saber quina és la opinió de la comunitat viccionaire (sé que som poquets, essencialment Vriullop, Pablussky, Arnaugir, Dafne07, Brunnaiz, Limotecariu i un servidor —disculpeu si em deixo a algú) sobre la proposta. En cas que no hi hagi objeccions, faria també una nota de premsa per si cap diari, web o publicació se'n vol fer ressó (la compartiré també perquè hi feu les aportacions que cregueu pertinents).

I am writing to you today to announce the outcome of the ratification vote on the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee Charter. 1746 contributors voted in this ratification vote with 1249 voters supporting the Charter and 420 voters not. The ratification vote process allowed for voters to provide comments about the Charter.

I am writing to you today with two important pieces of information. First, the report of the comments from the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) Charter ratification is now available. Secondly, the call for candidates for the U4C is open now through April 1, 2024.
The Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) is a global group dedicated to providing an equitable and consistent implementation of the UCoC. Community members are invited to submit their applications for the U4C. For more information and the responsibilities of the U4C, please review the U4C Charter.
Per the charter, there are 16 seats on the U4C: eight community-at-large seats and eight regional seats to ensure the U4C represents the diversity of the movement.

Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees 2024 Selection[modifica]
Dear all,
This year, the term of 4 (four) Community- and Affiliate-selected Trustees on the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees will come to an end [1]. The Board invites the whole movement to participate in this year’s selection process and vote to fill those seats.
The Elections Committee will oversee this process with support from Foundation staff [2]. The Board Governance Committee created a Board Selection Working Group from Trustees who cannot be candidates in the 2024 community- and affiliate-selected trustee selection process composed of Dariusz Jemielniak, Nataliia Tymkiv, Esra'a Al Shafei, Kathy Collins, and Shani Evenstein Sigalov [3]. The group is tasked with providing Board oversight for the 2024 trustee selection process, and for keeping the Board informed. More details on the roles of the Elections Committee, Board, and staff are here [4].
Here are the key planned dates:
- May 2024: Call for candidates and call for questions
- June 2024: Affiliates vote to shortlist 12 candidates (no shortlisting if 15 or less candidates apply) [5]
- June-August 2024: Campaign period
- End of August / beginning of September 2024: Two-week community voting period
- October–November 2024: Background check of selected candidates
- Board's Meeting in December 2024: New trustees seated

A la segona persona del present d'indicatiu, crec que la forma per a voseo hauria de ser [1]iás en compte de [1]ás, ja que el que s'ha d'introduir com a primer paràmetre és sense la i. Hola! Tinc un dubte, disculpeu-me si ja ha estat resolt abans enlloc. Normalment en l'etimologia d'un mot es fa constar la data de la primera documentació, a la manera del Gran diccionari de la llengua catalana. El dubte em sorgeix arran de la paraula emfitèutic, que en aquesta forma, com diu el GDLC, apareix per primera volta al Gazophylacium catalano-latinum (1696), però que com a mínim ja apareix en una entrada de 1286 del llibre de cort de justícia de València sota la forma emphiteòtich o emfiteòtic (Diéguez, Maria Àngels. El llibre de cort de justícia de València (1279-1321). Estudi lingüístic, 310.). Per tant, a l'etimologia de emfitèutic, caldria dir «1696» o «segle XIII» (o abans)? --MrPotato1010 (discussió) 20:22, 22 abr 2024 (CEST)
- @MrPotato1010 Això és com formenterer o formenterenc, són sinònims, de la mateixa arrel, amb diferents sufixos, diferent etimologia, potser diferent data i història. En principi la data de documentació hauria de ser la que correspon a l'entrada i l'etimologia, incloent-hi variants ortogràfiques però no formals. Entenc aquí la paradoxa d'un concepte feudal documentat molt tard. Es pot explicar alguna cosa com "1696 amb variants en català antic emfiteòtic, emfiteuticari". Pot servir el Coromines (b 23-33) que documenta emfiteusi, emfiteuta i emfitèutic en Lacavalleria, però indica les variants anteriors. - @Musrar No tenim aplicat el format anglès amb els sinònims i antònims sota cada accepció. El format recomanat és

Enllaços a seccions de llengua[modifica]
M'he trobat que han deixat de funcionar els enllaços amb codi de llengua, per exemple sobre#es no va a la secció de castellà. Això estava muntat via la plantilla {{-es-}} que a més de fer el títol de secció "Castellà" hi afegeix id="es" per usar-lo d'àncora. Hi ha hagut algun canvi al Mediawiki que fa que aquest id quedi ocult darrere d'altres id. Imagino que és part d'un projecte per a introduir àncores a les seccions amb una icona per a copiar i enganxar. A fr.wikt encara funciona. Pel que he entès, allà tenen un giny que reconstrueix els enllaços cercant un id previ. M'ha semblat obscur, difícil d'entendre com per importar-lo i que es pot trencar amb futurs canvis. M'ha semblat més fàcil modificar el mòdul:enllaç que s'encarrega de la gran majoria enllaços. Ara amb {{e|es|sobre}} apunta a sobre#Castellà. Hi ha molt poques plantilles que facin un enllaç manual sense passar pel mòdul. En aquesta mateixa secció, la definició és amb un enllaç [[#ca|sobre]]. Aquests casos no funcionen, però no em sembla cap problema perquè va al principi de pàgina. Els podria canviar amb bot a [[#Català|sobre]] o bé {{e|ca|sobre}} amb prioritat baixa incloent-ho com a canvis estètics on calgui fer altres canvis. Si es queda així, caldrà eliminar l'id de les plantilles de secció de llengua que es quedaran només com a unificació de noms per evitar errors i la introducció de denominacions alternatives. - He intentat per curiositat crear la pàgina del Mòdul, i ja veig quin és el problema: tenir tots els mòduls necessaris que hi ha en el mòdul original. Per exemple, en el kanjitab hi ha el Module:ja, que no tenim en català, i per crear aquest en calen d'altres que tampoc tenim, com ara el Module:string utilities, el Module:parameters (que en té molts més que no tenim), el Module:headword/data, etc.

What is the Wikimedia Movement Charter?
The Wikimedia Movement Charter is a proposed document to define roles and responsibilities for all the members and entities of the Wikimedia movement, including the creation of a new body – the Global Council – for movement governance.

Enllaços en verd (generació automàtica)[modifica]
Bon dia,
Des de fa uns dies no em surten els enllaços en verd, que es podien generar automàticament (plurals, etc.). En sabeu la causa? Gràcies.

- No pas. Surten en vermell i si hi faig clic s'obre la creació d'una entrada nova en blanc, com quan es fa a través del buscador. Fa dues setmanes encara m'apareixien en verd i tot anava bé. Informació addicional: he provat d'entrar al Viccionari des del Firefox i també m'apareixen en vermell (tot i que en aquest cas no puc assegurar si fa setmanes sortien en verd, perquè sempre treballo amb Chrome). --Pau Colominas (discussió) 15:59, 17 juny 2024 (CEST)

- Val, ja ho veig. En mòbil no té sentit, tot i que en l'anglès surt verd, no és possible que funcioni perquè no admet una precàrrega. No funciona amb el vector vell però sí amb el nou. Amb la pista del Pablo, està relacionat amb el mateix tema que #Enllaços a seccions de llengua, és a dir, un canvi en el format dels encapçalaments. Sembla que he aconseguit recuperar-ho, tot i que el giny té un desfasament de 6 anys amb l'anglès. Ho podeu confirmar?, amb quin navegador i quina aparença, vector-2010, vector-2022 o la que sigui. Mòdul i plantilla kanjitab[modifica]
Fa un mes ja vaig donar la tabarra, però algú més versat en importar mòduls i plantilles del viccionari anglès podria donar una ullada al mòdul i la plantilla kanjitab i veure la viabilitat d'importar-los? És el que permet disseccionar els lemes japonesos en els kanjis que els componen, cosa molt útil per accedir ràpidament a les informacions dels caràcters.
