General Description Of The Role
The resource will be part of the consumer marketing team and will be in charge of supporting Marketing and Customer Marketing activities related to our RARE portfolio, reporting directly to the Senior Brand Manager Spirits and in close collaboration with the Brand Ambassadors and CCM team members. RARE aims to unlock and accelerate the growth potential of a select range of super-premium and above brands and individual expressions in Switzerland, by creating a bespoke business and brand building model. With an increased strategic focus on the development of dedicated capabilities and tools, the ultimate objective is to establish long-term value and growth for this offering. In this endeavor, the Group has established a dedicated marketing and sales team in order to define and implement a new brand building and commercial strategy and model for the future of the super-premium & above portfolio.
Key Activities & Responsibilities
The resource will deal with the following main activities:
Coordination and controlling of the marketing activities for the RARE portfolio (consumer and trade marketing) applying a brand-building approach based on consumer and market needs and taking full ownership of the assigned projects (project plan, execution, reports, analysis)
Support the brand management in further developing the RARE business with innovative ideas and novel approaches
Collaborate closely with the RARE sales teams on specific market request, such as customer presentations and customer requirements and POS activations
Support in the organization of B2C and B2B events in all aspects from strategy definition to execution
Participation in consumer-advertising plans development including brand positioning review and media strategy
Analyze market and consumer data and make recommendations to the management, incl trend analysis
Sourcing of marketing/communication/POS materials in line with the brand guidelines, given the necessities of the brands within the operational marketing spectrum in the market
Support to the management of agencies and partners (incl development of briefs, challenge of agency proposals et al.)
Active participation and contribution to the local marketing community
Key Relationships
Internal: Consumer Marketing, CCM, Sales and Finance local teams, Logistics team
Languages: Fluency in English and German – French basic to intermediate and Italian is a plus
Project management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Key competences and traits
At least 1-year of professional experience in a marketing department or consulting
Experience in consumer goods or luxury industry knowledge is a plus
Passion for the spirits universe and high-end products with heritage
Strong team player with adaptive mindset
Excellent relational and communication skills
Strong entrepreneurial attitude with strong proactivity
Self-motivated, able to work independently
Strong problem solving skills with data-based mindset
