Engine idling reporting tool launches

In support of Portsmouth City Council’s When you stop, engine stops campaign, residents can now log incidents of engine idling directly to the council.

Research into Portsmouth residents’ behaviour indicated that there is demand for a reporting function for idling, as incidents frequently occur in the city.

By reporting engine idling, you can help our air quality, marketing and travel planning to address target areas where further outreach work is needed. This data is highly valuable, and we encourage residents to use the form whenever they need to. This will help to achieve our goal to lower engine idling and air pollution.

The form will take no longer than two minutes to complete and only needs an overview of the incident. No personal information is required.
