About Us

Clewer and Dedworth Together committee was founded in October 2021.

What started as a coffee and a chat to incorporate Christmas lights in Clewer and Dedworth swiftly turned into a fall-scale fundraising operation!

In November 2021 we hosted our first annual Christmas fair which was hugely successful followed by our Easter fair in April 2022, we were overwhelmed by the support of the local community with other 6 thousand residents joining in on the fun over these two events. We are now busy finalising our very first Picnic in the Park – Rock the Rec, a 2 day music festival with something for everyone.

With all profits made from this year’s events, we will be able to provide Christmas lights for the Dedworth road and in future years we also wish to be able to support more community projects, which benefit the local community and bring people together.

Chair – Lee Hibbard

Well known in the community, Lee runs Woody’s cafe in the Pirate Park.  She is the glue that keeps the committee together

Treasurer – Amy Tisi

Amy is a Lib Dem Councillor for Clewer East and lives with her husband and children in Clewer.  In her spare time She likes choral singing and started gardening during lockdown. She likes getting stuck in and making things happen and has really enjoyed getting to know new people through this committee. Her previous experience of charity work includes co-founding the Baby Bank in 2015.

Amy loves  where She lives and like many locals, She felt that Clewer and Dedworth sometimes misses out on some of the nice events that are put on in the town centre. Plus, if you want something doing… do it yourself!

As a teacher by profession, Amy’s role is to handle the paperwork and She’s also the treasurer, but during events She’s usually found running around in her hi vis making sure everything is running smoothly!

Secretary & Marketing, website & social media – Alison Carpenter

Alison is a local resident, dog owner and website builder.  Her day job is working for a corporate travel company.

She has lived in Windsor for 10 years and is very active in the local community. Alison lives in Windsor with her partner, John and her dog, cockapoo Saxon and is loving getting involved in the community activities in the area.

Alison is well-known locally for her organisational skills so was thrilled when asked to join the Clewer & Dedworth Community Events team looking after the marketing, website, leaflets and social media.
