Dutch and Afrikaans: One of the main reasons why I created this account was so that I could edit the Afrikaans pages. So often the Afrikaans articles are very "Dutch-ish." I get the impression that: because the two languages are similar, people disregard the differences between them. I am learning Dutch and feel that I am very aware of the differences between the two languages.
I am also learning French.
