Most ESA images are free only for educational and non-commercial use, and may not be modified. They are thus not free enough for Commons. Images created by the ESA should be uploaded to Commons only if the are explicitely marked as PD (or released under a free license) by ESA.
Commons didn't have a license for it, but we are free to use it (Read here). Help me find the proper license for the image. This is for educational and non-commercial use and there is no mention that the images cannot be modified so it does not violate their policy. Craigboy (talk) 07:43, 17 April 2010 (UTC)

Delete Common Good is correct. The cited license says, among other things:
- "If these images are to be used in advertising or any commercial promotion, layout and copy must be submitted to ESA beforehand for approval to:...."

And I would like to remind you of this line "You may use ESA images or videos for educational or informational purposes." and that's exactly what it's being used for.Craigboy (talk) 15:45, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
