Description Before getting to the Georgia- Russia border, I made just one more stop on the Georgia- Russia border to take this picture. This shows a large concrete water channel under the road, and one of the snow tunnels stuck to the roadside. Winters here are pretty bad, and such snow tunnels are numerous along the road, which people use to escape from the wind and snow. (Kazbegi/ Stepantsminda, Georgia, Sept. 2016)
