Español: El 13 de febrero de 1812 el primer periódico de Chile lanzó su primer número a la luz pública. Fray Camilo Henríquez fue nombrado por José Miguel Carrera como el redactor por sus vastos conocimientos en historia y humanidades. El periódico se publicó por más de un año, convirtiéndose en un símbolo de la Independencia de Chile.
