| Description |
English: This is a view of Downtown Albany, New York and the Hudson River from Albany's Corning Tower. The Empire State Plaza from the left houses the performance arts center, The Egg. The New York State Capitol can be seen across the plaza. Downtown Albany is marked by the cluster of buildings eastward to the Hudson River. The white octagonal Times Union events center (formerly Pepsi Arena) leads to the Circle Stack Interchange to Dunn Memorial Bridge. To the upper right is Albany's South end (port area) and in the lower right of the photo is the historic Mansion district. |
