| Description |
English: Drum Sands A very low spring tide and the sands appear to go out further than the map shows, not that I was interested in going out any further. Low water had passed, it was pouring down, and I rather fancied being back on dry land, over 1km away. The area stayed dry for a while but once the sands started to flood, they were covered in a very short time, with the usual nasty backfilling of creeks. Very firm sand, the mud seems confined to nearer the shore. |
