Summary

[edit]
Description
English: 2D image, exported from a 3D model, of a variant of a movie set exterior that once existed, until 1976, on the now demolished RKO Studios "Forty Acres" backlot in Culver City, California. The model depicts the Atlanta railroad depot as it appeared in the 1939 cinema classic Gone with the Wind. The set as constructed was a slightly downsized version (as is the 3D model) of the actual depot, and it was featured prominently in scenes that dramatized events leading to the fall of Atlanta in that film. The backlot movie set was an incomplete structure, with roofing only on the side which was filmed, and with a painted facade simulating the windowed structure along the roofline.
