Description |
From the point of view of a microbiologist it is key to identify the studied microorganisms. For this purpose, many various, selective and differential media are used, the way it is presented in the picture. These types of media have special chemical compounds in their formula which cause characteristic growth of selected groups of bacteria whereas others’ growth is inhibited. |
