I'm happy to take this one. I see there is also a fictional character with that name. I wonder if the suffragist's parents had read the book :) Should there be a link to the fictional character? Overall good quality. Just a few minor comments.

• lead: I think the lead is short but proportionally ok. However, I don't think "She was born to Betsey (née Buckley) .." belongs in the lead. Once that is removed the next sentence basically says what the first sentence says, so should go as well. Have a look at what else could go in the lead, because now it is getting quite short. Perhaps something like Influenced by her father's suffragist ..." but other things as well probably

It is a bit on the short side, which is not stopping it from meeting the criteria, but if you like, you could consider adding a bit more. Here are some things I came across you might consider:

• In 1894 she was the first woman to be elected to the Ashton board of guardians (Oxford Dictionary)
