Plot summary

A conman's (Brody) plans are foiled by his girlfriend (Weisz), when he decides to pull one final job with his brother and their silent partner.

Production

The original script was titled "Penelope" after Weisz's character, which may have changed. The script began with a short poem, which may be featured in the film.

"As far as con man stories go, I must have heard them all. Of ropers, grifters, faro fixers, tales drawn long and tall... but if one bears a bookmark in the confidence man's tome twould be that of Penelope, and of the Brothers Bloom." [1]
