Description
English: Commemorative plaque, made and placed in secret by anonymous inhabitant of occupied Warsaw (dated 1st November 1943 – on All Saints' Day). It commemorates thousands of victims of street executions conducted in that time in Warsaw by Nazi-German occupants. Such plaques, as well as flowers and memorial crosses, were put at the places of executions by ordinary inhabitants of Warsaw (despite high risk).
Polski: Pamiątkowa tablica wykonana, a następnie ustawiona w dzień Wszystkich Świętych przez anonimowego mieszkańca okupowanej Warszawy (1 listopada 1943). Upamiętnia tysiące ofiar egzekucji przeprowadzanych w tym okresie na ulicach Warszawy. Podobne tablice - podobnie jak kwiaty, czy krzyże - były stawiane przez warszawiaków na miejscach ulicznych egzekucji (mimo związanego z tym dużego ryzyka).
