1998–99 Ukrainian First League

1998–99 Ukrainian First League was the eighth season of the Ukrainian First League which was won by FC Dynamo-2 Kyiv. The season started on July 31, 1998, and finished on July 4, 1999.

  1. ^ The second team of FC Dynamo Kyiv cannot be promoted as the club already has a representation in the Vyscha Liha.
  2. ^ FC Torpedo Zaporizhia filed for bankruptcy at the end of the season and therefore could not be promoted.
  3. ^ FC Cherkasy was offered to play a play-off game with the second worst team of Vyscha Liha, FC Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk, because of Torpedo's bankruptcy and placing only the fourth place.
  4. ^ After the first half of the competition the team was taken off due to the PFL membership debts. The team was fined of six competition points and in the second half was awarded technical losses.
