Additionally, do admins here think it's worth my and the community's time to go thru the process of asking to be an admin? I ask because I don't like introducing this overhead to admins when I make a new category, but I am also not as active a user here as the existing admins tend to be. As you can see from my edits, I am involved in fighting spam and vandalism as I see it and I have been a productive member of the community for several years, even if I dip in and out at times. Original reporting of court cases
I was consdering covering some court cases by physically attending the hearing and taking notes. I have had a look at the OR page but was a little confused: (1) Are OR notes alone sufficient for an article to be published or is it necessary to get an interview or make contact with primary sources? I likely wouldn't have any sources other than my notes since contacting trial participants may be difficult or impossible due to contempt of court, lawyer-client confidentiality, etc. (2) Is there anything in particular I should take notes on if I am covering a court case? - Make note of who you contact and when. If they don't respond, note that as well.

- Stevie Wonder to perform pre-game show for Superbowl XL
- Live 8 concerts around the world to "End Poverty Now"
- Live 8 concert plans announced
