Notability

[edit]

Jodie Fisher has been on numerous mainstream television programs, and has been written about by sources including the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, NY Daily News and The Huffington Post. I don't think there's any question about her notability vis-a-vis being on Wikipedia, and, as such, I've removed the warning regarding notability from the page. How about her time as a porn star?

[edit]

Numerous reports of her involvement with and false accusations against Mark Hurd portray her as a "FORMER PORN STAR".

Here's one: http://www.nytimes.com/2011/12/30/business/note-that-led-to-downfall-of-hewlett-chief-surfaces.html — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.181.168.139 (talk) 01:06, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just because someone calls me a former porn star does not make it true. It is an absolute smear of my name and FALSE. I did several R rated films. I have never been in an X rated film, have never done porn. Loveinfo123 (talk) 22:32, 18 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That article was written by someone who doesn't understand the Erotic Thriller genre. Jodie Fisher did a few films in the Erotic Thriller genre (she's even interviewd in a recent documentary about erotic thrillers) but Erotic thrillers are not the same as pornography. You wouldn't call Sharon Stone a pornstar just because she was nude in a few scenes of Basic Instinct. Jaydoggmarco (talk) 02:55, 20 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
