The conversation is currently located at [[Wikipedia:Village pump (proposals)#Suspend sysop rights after 1 Year of inactivity]]. As the link implies, the conversation is about (temporarily) removing rights of inactive administrators, until such time as they resume editing, at which point their rights would be returned to them. The proposal is related to a recent indecent whereby an inactive sysop account was hijacked by white supremacists. Undelete an article?
Hi Samir, you deleted the page about Ray William Johnson, saying the article didn't mention the importance of this person. Well he's a tube video actor/editor, he describes his work as "I review viral videos, and sometimes I manage to be mildly entertaining... sometimes."
His channel had 4 463 649 views as of Saterday 10/11/2009, is ranked #39 worldwide and #14 in the comedy section (source : Youtube).
Could you reverse the deleting if possible ? I have no clue if it is at all possible, or what infos the page had that would be interesting, but the subject would certainly deserve a wikipedia page more than the latest pokemon invented by Nitendo...
You can contact me on utilisateur:Rioga98 (I don't know why but I can't loggon to the English version with my French ID/PSW)

- Well, if he/she deleted it, it must not have been notable. - Zhang He (talk) 05:58, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't have an account on fr but I will reply here. The text of the article when I deleted it was 3 unsourced lines about reviewing YouTube videos and it met criteria for speedy deletion, as there was no clear reference of notability. Are there 3rd party references to this fellow? If so, perhaps recreating the article with references would be reasonable. Thanks for your note -- Samir 07:05, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Dear Samir, I am a RayWilliam Johnson subscriber who watches weekly. He is ranked number 4 in the youtube channel charts for most veiwed this month, number 2 this week and has sat through interveiws with everyone from google to kodak, where THEY ask HIM how to make videos. He may seem like a youtube, phenomenon, but he is a legitemate entertainer. His existance is worth putting into wikipedia. An online magazine PauseToPreWind wrote an artice about him here: http://pausestoprewind.com/2010/01/is-ray-william-johnson-original-or-just-riding-on-others-content/
PLUS he does colaborations with many of the top ranked youtube video creaters including mysteryguitarman, ijustine, and shanedawsontv-- all video makers and perfomers in their own right.
He has an estimated average of 2million veiws per video on youtubesnips http://www.youtubesnips.com/results?search_query=raywilliamjohnson&search=tag
He is also reported in:
youtube spotlight http://dailyblowhole.wordpress.com/2010/01/30/youtube-spotlight-ray-william-johnson/

Gastroenterology articles
Many thanks for awarding me my first barnstar - it was quite unexpected. I will of course continue to work on gastro-related articles. At present I am working on Endoscopy unit, but I am finding this very difficult to reference (particularly design/size of unit etc.) - any ideas? On the upside I have got a couple of images of my unit to illustrate the article.
Many thanks again. Gilo ö 00:20, 10 November 2009 (UTC)

This IP Address User kept vandalizing my Userpage
I know you haven't been onto my account for a long time, but can you please keep an eyes open with these IP address:
120.155.131.169
120.155.242.10
120.155.187.183
I dunno if this was a same person or not, but usually IP addresses have different types of people on them. I just gave them/him/her/it a couple of warnings, because I don't want my Userpage to turn into an Edit War.

Unable to resist bacon's temptations, rogue editors have kicked off the Bacon Challenge 2010 before the New Year even starts! This is a fun and collegial event and all are welcome. There are many non-pork articles for editors who enjoy some sizzle, but object to or don't like messing with pig products. This year's event also includes a Bacon WikiCup 2010 for those who may want to keep score and enjoy engaging in friendly competition. Given the critical importance of this subject matter, I know you will want to participate, so remember to sign up today and get started A.S.A.P. ChildofMidnight (talk) 19:33, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
- Feel free to remove this message Samir. Really. I know bacon is a somewhat controversial subject. That's one of the reasons I tried to move onto doughnuts. But there is some sort of bacon mania among Wikipedians, and even if there are turkey bacon products, vegan bacons, and fakon bacons, it's still a greasy subject. :) ChildofMidnight (talk) 08:01, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
IBD images
Hey,
I've started uploading some micrographs of IBD.

Colitis
The colitis article needs a re-work. It looks like it was written by a well-meaning individual with inflammatory bowel disease. I've started the process by re-wording the introduction, which I felt was off the mark and added a micrograph. If you can find the time, your expertise would be a big plus. NowCommons: File:Lab coat and scrubs.jpg
File:Lab coat and scrubs.jpg is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Lab coat and scrubs.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Lab coat and scrubs.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 10:23, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
Ulcerative colitis
You reverted my change to this article with the edit summary "read d, please read article if you want to make changes". I have no idea what you meant by this summary, but regardless of exactly what you meant it is not clear what the sentence I removed refers to - I should not have to read the entire article to understand what it is referring to. As the sentence stands I do not believe it should be in the article as it is very unclear - if you wish to make the sentence clearer then my opinion may change. I have now found the relevant it in the article and see that it doesn't refer to the US specifically but the sentence in the lead is still unclear and this was always my main point - does it refer to the north of the US, the north of England, the North of France - I'm sure you get the idea. Dpmuk (talk) 23:55, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
As a slight aside - the source given in the article for the main statement only discusses Europe not the US, so the statement that it's more common in the north of the US compared to the south is sourced. Dpmuk (talk) 00:08, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
And now... yes, you've guessed it
Thanks
I never thanked for your condolence note last year, but I appreciate it more than I can possibly express. All the best, in friendship. Guettarda (talk) 16:26, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Could really use your input
Hi Samir, there is an discussion going on about a redirect of Irritable bowel disease to the article Irritable bowel syndrome. I feel that redirecting the IBD article to the IBS article is only going to confuse the readers. Since Irritable bowel disease (IBD) is really about Inflammatory bowel disease then if a redirect is absolutely needed then it should go to that article, Inflammatory bowel disease. The discussion is going on here. If you search for Irritable bowel disease you will go to the IBS article. I would appreciate your thoughts on this at the comment section I supplied. You being a GI will certainly help with the confusion that is going on. Thanks in advance and I hope you are well, --CrohnieGalTalk 17:03, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Deleting The Waltles Article, wrongfully deleting factual article.
Samir
I don't know who you think you are, but you wrongfully deleted a factual article on wikipedia
without reading the article or doing more research. You will find that The Groups leader actually broke a record for having the Top 6 Singles on a weekly published chart! We at Walteria Records can send you a hard copy of that chart for your records to see, and we can send you two links that have verified that the charts were broken by the band's founder and the article in question is indeed factual. The article needs to be restored asap.
I'm asking you kindly this time.
Next time do your research!
