I see that Marco Polo gave you a helpful answer on the reference desk which you have copy/pasted into the article on Canadian English . Trying to improve the article is good, but you cannot use information given on the reference desk without a source. I see that you have asked for a source, and in fact another user has added a source for this paragraph to the article. But what would have happened if the person who anwered had just made the answer up? You would have put wrong info into the article.

Also, some editors might think it was rude just to copy their reply, without giving them some credit for it, or else rewriting it. --Elen of the Roads (talk) 17:00, 29 May 2011 (UTC)

Copying within the project

I see that Marco Polo (talk · contribs) gave you a helpful answer on the reference desk [1] which you have copy/pasted into the article on Canadian English [2].

--Elen of the Roads (talk) 17:00, 29 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
