XOLO is an Indian smart mobile devices brand launched in early 2012. The head office of XOLO is located at Noida. It manufactures and re-brands mobile devices that include smartphones, tablets, mobile device accessories etc. R&D center is located in Bangalore and China and has approx. 100+ engineers working in both the centers combined. History
XOLO started with the launch of XOLO X900 in April 2012[8], the world’s first smartphone with Intel processor. XOLO was also the first Indian manufacturer to partner with AMD to launch the XOLO Win Tablet[9]. Recently, XOLO launched the first 4G smartphone[10] in India.
It has also developed a series of Apps suite knows as "XOLO Unlimited" which has apps which support most of the devices, like, XOLO Power , a power management app, XOLO Secure, an anti-theft app and XOLO Switch, which allows multi-user profiles on a phone (Only Q700 supported), for the first time as well. Some device specific apps include X-Tran sPic [11], only for Q500, which translates images' text from Hindi to English and X-Themes[12], only for A500S , which is a themer app.
Partnership with Liverpool FC
On January 6th, 2014, XOLO announces Regional Partnership with Liverpool FC until May 2016, thus making XOLO the first Indian brand to associate with football.[13] This partnership is supposed to bring XOLO users exclusive football content from Liverpool FC.
