The company led by [[Nguyễn Văn Kịp]] (Đồng Đen) started the attack. The forces inside the base use AK-47s, grenades and bomd to eliminate troops of the US' army and ARVN, and destroyed a depot of weapon. The forces outside the base used 60mm and 85mm motars, and 75mm recoilless rifle for supporting the inside troops of PLAF and preventing Amercican and ARVN forces of tank Attack aircraft, and helicopter from supporting the airbase forces.
