Unusual intermodal container

Hello all,
Behind my apartment, in the back lane, there stands a steel container that is 8 ft (2,440 mm) wide, 8 ft 6 in (2,590 mm) tall, but only 10 ft 2 in (3,100 mm) long over the regular bottom corner castings. I took a picture with my iphone. In addition there are several others in the back lane that are only a bit different. I suppose it is small container. I use it for storage. Series 1

The article is about ISO Series 1 containers (it redirects from ISO Series 1 containers), without indicating what 'Series 1' relates to. Are there other series, perhaps an update to the standards? If there are no other series, the article ought to indicate this. FreeFlow99 (talk) 13:54, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

9 ft 6+12 in high containers

I have seen 9 ft 6+12 in (2,908 mm) high containers as well as 9 ft 6 in (2,896 mm). Peter Horn User talk 04:10, 6 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
