They're part of the extended Dutch Royal Family, but they aren't Princes of the Netherlands. In this they're in the same position as the children of Princess Christina of the Netherlands, or the children of the gen 6 princes. Since their only official titles are in the Dutch nobility, as overseen by High Council of Nobility, they don't qualify for this template, just as people like Joseph, Prince de Caraman-Chimay and the Dukes of Wellington, as Prince of Waterloo, don't qualify

This template's initial visibility currently defaults to autocollapse, meaning that if there is another collapsible item on the page (a navbox, sidebar, or table with the collapsible attribute), it is hidden apart from its title bar; if not, it is fully visible.

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

  • {{Dutch princesses|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
  • {{Dutch princesses|state=expanded}} will show the template expanded, i.e. fully visible.
