RE: King of Friday's Men

I added inline citations. Is the problem considered solved? Starlighsky (talk) 02:23, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Starlighsky: Hi! Looks like you've got inline citations for everything apart from the sections "Abbey Theatre Productions" and "Characters". The former of those certainly needs a citation. Also, you cite Wikipedia for references #2 and #8. Per Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a reliable source, we don't cite articles to other Wikipedia articles. If you want to use the information found on those other articles, you need to use the references the articles are cited with rather than the articles themselves. Thanks, Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 02:34, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just noticed that as well. I am fixing it at this very moment. Starlighsky (talk) 02:43, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Karl Narasky (05:40, 14 January 2024)

Hi, happy to meet you. My question is; if you edit in one place does that correct the error in every place it's mentioned? --Karl Narasky (talk) 05:40, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Karl Narasky: Hello, welcome to Wikipedia! When you edit an article everybody who looks at that article will also be able to see that change, but it is not transferred between articles. Thanks, Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 09:05, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Moving page

I have added references to 1766 in russia so could you check it and move it back Changeworld1984 (talk) 18:57, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Changeworld1984: Hi! You recreated the page after it was draftified, so the article doesn't need moving anywhere. Thanks for adding those references! Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 18:59, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Actually I also tried moving the page and it showed that both destination have same name so I assumed you put some restriction. Changeworld1984 (talk) 19:02, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

deletion of Doug Belshaw page

Doug's work in leading organisation in web literacy (Mozilla and Moodle) alongside a current leader in open badges and his PhD and subsequent work in a very current field digital literacy, alongside his Book which although self published ( this is in connection to his work of open practice) I think information on him and his field of expertise is worthy to be included in Wikipedia. Apologies I wasnt clear in my initial edit why I was created the page - does that help AProcter GB eng (talk) 16:48, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@AProcter GB eng: Hi! You need to post this on the talk page for the article (Talk:Doug Belshaw) where it can be reviewed properly. Admins won't check my talk page here. Thanks, Pickersgill-Cunliffe (talk) 16:51, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
thanks did it :) AProcter GB eng (talk) 16:53, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well they deleted it without even replying to me on the talk page. AProcter GB eng (talk) 19:07, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting

Thank you for reverting your edit. I really appreciate it! Avishai11 (talk) 20:00, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Courageous Conversations

I would like to correct errors included on Renee Hobbs page about her federal grant from the Department of Homeland Security.

/* Censorship & Propaganda Controversy */  I would like to remove false and misleading information from the poor-quality source (Media Research Center and Daily Wire) and replaced it with more reliable information from the Boston Globe and Providence Business News.

Courageous Rhode Island

When the U.S. federal government identified media literacy as a strategy to help reduce the fear and hate that leads to violence, Professor Hobbs developed Courageous Rhode Island.[1] Three programs included:

Courageous Conversations: dialogue and discussion program for adults, addressing topics including preventing violent extremism; hate speech, free speech and censorship; conflict entrepreneurs, influencers; and preventing radicalization.

Courageous Professional Development: a program for middle-school, high school and college educators exploring how to integrate media literacy, active listening, kindness and compassion, and community engagement.

Courageous Youth Media Contest: a program for middle-school, high school, and college students involving media production in print, video, audio, and graphic design.

Of the 22 programs held for Courageous Conversations, 81% of participants reported that they were able to use what they learned in the program in everyday life.

On January 17, 2024, The Media Research Center, "one of the most active and best funded" conservative media outlets, published a report on Courageous RI that is critical of the use of federal funds for anti-disinformation education programs, accusing the program of political bias.[2] Within days, the conservative media ecosystem re-published their report to dozens of right-wing websites. There is a mop reserved in your name

You are a remarkable editor in many ways. You would be a good administrator, in my opinion, and appear to be well qualified. You personify an administrator without tools and have gained my support already!
