:::There was a discussion over 6 years ago about 3 comics articles: this one, another character that doesn't even have Magik as part of the article name, and a limited series which is A) technically at the wrong name and B) much less significant than the character article. Also, that previous RM didn't consider the usage of the primary Magik article name, which is consistent with [[Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Comics]] for any of the potential moves. I'm not opposed to putting it up for RM, but is there any other article currently on the disambig page that merits bringing up in the RM? If not, I'm not sure a previous RM over a separate issue (which page belonged at [[Magik (comics)]] ) would render this move controversial? If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."
If you are here because you want an admin to approve of your new article or your proposed page move, you are in the wrong place.

- To list a technical request: Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.{{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=edit summary for the move}}
the - If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
- If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.
Technical requests
Uncontroversial technical requests
- Gulewamkulu → Gule Wamkulu (currently a redirect back to Gulewamkulu) (move · discuss) – Destination page is just a redirect. Tumbuka Arch (talk) 17:04, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- This doesn't explain why the title should be changed. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 17:17, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- The sources in the article do seem to be two words with the space. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 03:23, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Requests to revert undiscussed moves
- Kids in the Street (album) (currently a redirect to Kids in the Street) → Kids in the Street (move · discuss) – unnecessary disambiguation 162 etc. (talk) 18:35, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- The target has since been converted to a dab page by @Wikishovel, so it's best to ask before removing that dab, but there are many links pointing to it so the initial move definitely broke some stuff. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 18:43, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've dabbed the inbound links, sorry for not checking that after converting to dab. If consensus goes against the undiscussed move, then please ping me and I'll undab them again. Wikishovel (talk) 19:55, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
Contested technical requests
- Charli XCX → Charli xcx (currently a redirect back to Charli XCX) (move · discuss) – Charli changed her stage name with the release of her 2024 album Brat. I've updated the article itself to reflect that change and citing a source demonstrating the change. The article title should be changed as well. Kapgene (talk) 14:25, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- Not so fast on whether that is an official name change. The text in the article only states that she changed the capitalization in some but not all of her social media accounts, and the only so-called confirmation given for that turn of events is this gossipy site: [1]. Meanwhile, all reliable media outlets reporting on her recent events, or reviewing her new album, are still spelling her name the old way. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:06, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- The change in the body of the article has been discussed on the article Talk page and reverted. I don't see any mention of WP:independent reliable sources above. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:34, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

- Kingdom of Norway (872–1397) → Norgesveldet (currently a redirect back to Kingdom of Norway (872–1397)) (move · discuss) – A term widely used even in English sources, have already agreed with someone else on the talk page GusGusBrus (talk) 14:01, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- From (Jochens 2012), a review of a compilation of multiple conference papers on the topic, the term appears to be used by some historians as a name for the historical entity, but not necessarily a consensus one. It also bears connotations of 19th century romanticized nationalism, and might not necessarily be the most neutral title. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 13:00, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Its the native Norwegian name used, and its also used in multiple English sources. I see no reason why it wouldn't be appropriate? GusGusBrus (talk) 14:00, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- The very existence of this discussion makes it a WP:RM case; the move request can be tacked onto the end of the current discussion and the comments already made can be considered (and the commenters notified of the RM). — AjaxSmack 02:17, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

- New Brunswick Legislature → List of New Brunswick Legislative Assemblies (currently a redirect back to New Brunswick Legislature) (move · discuss) – Article pretty much covers Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, just with a list of sessions. This page should be renamed to "List of New Brunswick Legislative Assemblies" (which redirects to this article) and "New Brunswick Legislature" should serve as a redirect to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick article. B3251(talk) 18:56, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Overlap isn't that obvious, the New Brunswick Legislature article mentions
Today, the legislature is made of two elements: the lieutenant governor (representing the King of Canada) and the unicameral assembly called the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick.
The article also discusses the earlier history of the legislature, where the Legislative Assembly was only one half of a bicameral legislature, and the earlier items on the list include both houses. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 21:38, 29 June 2024 (UTC)

- United States commemorative coins → Commemorative coins of the United States (currently a redirect back to United States commemorative coins) (move · discuss) – Requesting a page swap so that this article in the Commemorative coins series is consistent with the title convention for country-based, non-list Commemorative coin articles, as seen in the 'See also' section in the Commemorative coin article. MooseMike (talk) 07:28, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- I'd support on principle, but this should probably be further discussed, as it would also mean changing all lists such as List of United States commemorative coins and medals (2020s), as well as templates like {{US commemorative coinage (2020s)}}. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 07:35, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- The present name is adequate, understandable, and briefer than the proposed title. Randy Kryn (talk) 00:15, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- San Lorenzo de Roma Church (Balagtas) → Balagtas Church (currently a redirect back to San Lorenzo de Roma Church (Balagtas)) (move · discuss) – The shorter name "Balagtas Church" is the more common name and not "San Lorenzo de Roma Church". Sanglahi86 (talk) 13:32, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- @Sanglahi86 A Google search shows this is probably not the WP:COMMONNAME. I suggest starting a WP:RM instead. C F A 💬 14:54, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Serviceton railway line → Ararat railway line (currently a redirect instead to Ballarat V/Line rail service) (move · discuss) – Revamped the article as the line has not been known as the "Serviceton railway line" since 1995, when the line past Ararat was converted to standard gauge and reopened as part of the then-new Western standard gauge line. Граймс (talk) 14:06, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
- Looking at the official V/Line maps, I can't find evidence of individual V/Lines having official names, do you have sources for "Ararat railway line" being the WP:COMMONNAME? Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 16:53, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- This article is about the physical rail line, not the V/Line service which runs on it. Both terminate at Ararat, since the rest of physical rail line was converted to standard gauge and connected to other lines to form the Western standard gauge railway line. As for V/Line, they treat their passenger service to Ararat as an extension of the Ballarat V/Line rail service (you can see that on the map you've linked, and the fact Ararat services share the Ballarat V/Line twitter account, or the fact vline.com.au only shows Ararat services after you click Ballarat, etc), so it's documented on that page instead. - MyLek (film) → Mylek (film) (move · discuss) – name correction 49.33.196.10 (talk) 15:29, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- If Mylėk is turned into a redirect to its creator Vilija Matačiūnaitė, perhaps the film should be moved to Mylek or MyLek. (I turned the former into a dab before realizing this.) Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 16:23, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- And if it isn't, per WP:SMALLDIFFERENCES, the film should be at MyLek (or Mylek (film)). The only question is which capitalization of the title is the most used, as the film's official material appears to use a mixed-script title that obviously can't be our article title. - KFF Tirana AS (currently a redirect to Tirana AS) → Tirana AS (move · discuss) – I had requested this move a few weeks back but I can't seem to find the request any longer. The actual name of the football team is Tirana AS. KFF that's added to the name title is incorrect. I have in my possesion a book from author Florent Hoxha titled "Futbolli Femëror Shqiptar", the only published book of its kind covering the history of Albanian women's football. In page 41, the author gives a brief profile of the club's history. Tirana AS is known as such from 2007 until at least 2021. The club was eventually disbanded. There is speculation it merged into a new club, known as KFF Tirana. I have yet to find a source that confirms this. Throughout the club's 15 year history, they have always been known as Tirana AS. This is reflected in their logo as well. In the 2020–21 table standings, they are still referred to as Tirana AS. Kj1595 (talk) 01:55, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- Last month at RMT, Ahecht pinged Fjorilda09 to ask about their addition of Tirana AS's statistics to the KFF Tirana page. Several days passed with no response—even now, Fjorilda09 hasn't edited since 29 May 2024. Ahecht, are you still contesting this? Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 03:43, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
- This article's title needs to change. Here is further proof as to why: During the 2021–22 season, both KFF Tirana and Tirana AS are listed in the table standings. So, the clubs could not possibly be one of the same. In this article published last year in the Albanian Football Federation's official website, it mentions the club being affiliated or attached to KFF Gramshi. Kj1595 (talk) 20:02, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

- Anatolichthys saldae (currently a redirect to Anatolichthys) → Anatolichthys splendens (move · discuss) – i accidentally changed the Anatolichthys splendens name to A.saldae and i cant fix it . can you help me? - They posted it to my Talk page, in an existing topic, that was not anything to do with it, so I deleted it. See the revision history of my Talk page. They have tried to fix it themselves and there is now a lot of inappropriate redirects, and an incomplete page name (Gölçük toothcar, missing the P) Big Blue Cray(fish) Twins (talk) 23:36, 28 June 2024 (UTC)

- Also, shouldn't it point to Gölçük toothcarp rather than Gölçük toothcar? Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:39, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Looking into it, A. saldae appears to be a completely different species from A. splendens, and "Gölçük toothcarp" doesn't seem to be the WP:COMMONNAME of either species, so this will need quite a bit of untangling. Chaotic Enby (talk · contribs) 00:45, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
