"Gift of a Friend" is a song performed by singer Demi Lovato. It was written by Adam Watts, Andy Dodd and Lovato herself. It was produced by John Fields. The song is taken from Disney's animated feature film Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, and serves as the lead single. There is an art cover that was released in Japan.

Music video

Demi shot a video for the song, and it premiered on on July 21, 2009, on the Disney Channel.[1] Demi is featured in a beautiful area, surrounded by trees and a lake in the video. Throughout the video, a CGI fairy's light can be seen flying around, which attracts Demi's attention. Aside from singing herself, the video also features clips from the film.
