Alan McHugh is a Scottish television and theatre actor and playwright known for his roles in numerous programs such as Taggart, Take the High Road, [1]Limmy's Show and Rab C. Nesbitt. He also has vast writing credits with I Dreamed a Dream[2] and numerous pantomimes being amongst them. [3] He also starred in the hit Scottish soap opera Take the High Road as local bobby PC Tony Piacentini.
He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1991 and, since then, has gone on to write for and star in a catalogue of successful plays, pantomimes and programs.[4]
