This article was originally splintered from Tobacco (agriculture). Since these articles are invariably linked, it is important to coordinate summaries and updates. Some sections may better belong in Tobacco products and some sections may better belong in Types of tobacco. There are still a number of potential sections which have been listed in Tobacco (disambiguation), which need to be transcribed before we begin its deduction and cleanup. Must there be so many references to US history and Civil war? This is about tobacco not US historical nostalgia
