You have just taken time away from me. I'm no robot. You need to stop deleting everything I do and start adding things to it. You're to lazy to help me out and add some more references that you just have to hit that delete button.

Fleetwood Mac

Thanks for creating all these articles about Fleetwood Mac singles, you're doing a great job. Remember notability though, for example, I don't think "Sunny Side of Heaven" is notable enough for an article. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:00, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey it's me. I think that it should because it was on an album that's sold a million copies in the U.S. and it's a very good song. It's not doing anyone harm is it?

No, but it still has to pass the notability requirements. Otherwise you could write an article about nearly all Fleetwood Mac songs. Basically a song has to be a single (A-side) and it has to have charted somewhere as a single. Or, you have to find enough information and sources about it to write a much longer article. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:14, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, well I'm not going to do every song (even though every Beatles song has a wiki page), I will only do the songs from now on that are singles or that I can write a long article about.

Yeah, the Beatles are supposedly a "special case" although a lot of people argue about that. I see you've linked "Thoughts on a Grey Day" - sorry, that's nowhere near fit for a stand-alone article. Any reliably-sourced info you can find (not forum posts!) should go into Bare Trees. Cheers, Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:28, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay but guess what! That "forum post" is more reliable then half the things on wikipedia, go look at the post first it is reliable. "Thoughts on a grey day" will have more then the fourm post, please wait until I'm done typing. Please do not delete my work, i'm not doing much more after this and besides, am I wasting internet space? Is it wrong information? No! I don't see what the problem is. TOAGD will be longer then other song pages I made. Thank you.

I know most of the guys on that forum, and while they are posting in good faith, they make mistakes. Trying to find someone from the past is a lot harder than they think. I think it's maybe 50/50 that this woman is who they think it is. I'm not going to delete anything you do, but someone else might, and I can't stop them. It's not a question of internet space, it's more a question of Wikipedia's notability guidelines, and some people enforce them very strictly. I'm waiting for TOAGD but there really isn't much information out there, and it should probably go into the album article anyway. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:49, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I PM'ed him for details and he proved it is legit.

You PMed who? Wikipedia needs a lot more than someone's say-so. I saw the article, but I doubt it will stay for long. Why have you got all the members of Fleetwood Mac under personnel? There's no evidence any of them were present. You have John McVie doing vocals. It's really shaky, sorry. Bretonbanquet (talk) 15:53, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Read the book and come back to me okay? They were all there and at the end they say good job and laugh okay? I PM'ed someone on The Ledge.

I've read the book. The male voice at the end is not a member of the band. Someone on the Ledge is not a reliable source. Could be anybody. Bretonbanquet (talk) 16:37, 21 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is not right. There is nothing wrong with it. I'll add a few sources if it makes you happy. Please do not delete it Why are you guys picking at everything I do.

This is not personal and there is no wish to discourage you from contributing. However, rightly or wrongly, Wikipedia does not want articles on every song ever. When selecting songs about which to create articles, WP:NSONGS will provide guidance. RichardOSmith (talk) 12:58, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Also, there is no reason why you cannot make your case for inclusion at the AfD and I would encourage you to do so. RichardOSmith (talk) 13:00, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not doing every song!!! Only the notable ones. Freedom was the only time that another person played percussion on a studio Fleetwood Mac song AND the only one that was co-written by Michael Campbell.

Ok, but whether that's notability or trivia is subjective. Wikipedia has a clear and straightforward definition: something is notable if there is non-trivial independent coverage of it in multiple reliable sources. If you can reference such sources then the article should be saved. RichardOSmith (talk) 14:31, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
