Alan McHugh is a Scottish television and theatre actor and playwright known for his roles in numerous programs such as Taggart, Take the High Road, [1]Limmy's Show and Rab C. Nesbitt. He also has vast writing credits with I Dreamed a Dream[2] and numerous pantomimes being amongst them. [3]

He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1991 and, since then, has gone on to write for and star in a catalogue of successful plays, pantomimes and programs.
