I research peer production and digital commons and have made mainly anonymous small edits for fun over the years. Recently I have begun a project to teach Year 5, 6 and 7 schoolchildren fact-checking techniques which rely on using Wikipedia. An article in The Conversation, "Students are told not to use Wikipedia for research. But it’s a trustworthy source" explains the project's rationale and the challenges it faces.
