Phonographic systems

Currently, the article mentions "phonographic systems" of writing, with the word phonographic a reference to phonograph. This is obviously not the intent, but I'm not sure whaat is: is it phonogram (linguistics)? phonetic orthography? something else? 2A02:8109:A380:B58:7D19:579F:F521:EA44 (talk) 19:04, 27 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
