Discrepancy

Our article Sail plan#types of ships shows a square-rigged foremast, the last two masts lateen-rigged, while this article says the main mast is square-rigged and the fore and mizzen masts are lateen-rigged. Why is this? J S Ayer (talk) 05:02, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The polacca is also spelled in older English, "poleacre" or even "pole-acre". There are articles where this spelling is used. A referral would be helpful. Ptilinopus (talk) 23:20, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
