Highland Park is, by Pittsburgh standards, a racially diverse, mostly residential neighborhood in the northeastern corner of the city of Pittsburgh. The neighborhood is built around a large park (Highland Park), and is bordered by the neighborhoods of East Liberty to the south, the Allegheny River to the North, and Morningside to the East. Unlike much of the rest of the city, Highland Park is relatively flat, and the houses are spread apart. The neighborhood has good access to public transportation.
