Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Newfieldhighschoolseldennewyork.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:43, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Earl L. Vandermeulen High School, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.citizendia.org/Earl_L._Vandermeulen. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Historical census data

Hey Neighborhoodpalmreader, just wondering where you get your historical census data from. --JBC3 (talk) 17:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I get it via the US Census website, where you can download historical census data for any of the decennial censuses in pdf format. Here's a link - http://www.census.gov/prod/www/abs/decennial/index.htm E.g., for the data I just added today for Suffolk County, the 1900 census has a table containing populations for each county from each prior census going back to 1790. For smaller civil divisions the data does not usually go as far back, and is usually buried deeper in the census materials. E.g., for Coram, New York, an unincorporated census-designated place, data only goes back to 1980. --Neighborhoodpalmreader (talk) 17:54, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much! --JBC3 (talk) 18:21, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Newsday

Hello! I would be happy to help you! :) Is there any way that I can contact you off-site? Via e-mail, or something like that? I can send you the full text of the articles in a notepad document, or Microsoft Word document, or even copy and paste every article via e-mail. Whatever sounds like a good idea to you. Have a good day! CarpetCrawlermessage me 19:37, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
